About Course

Join Mila the Manatee on a word-detective adventure! Your child learns that a noun names a person, a place, an animal, or a thing, and practices capital letters for special names, adding -s and -es, and using ‘s to show who owns something.

Everything can be read aloud: tap any word to hear it. Spanish help is built into the lesson (tap Español at the top of the lesson). Please take the quiz in English, because it checks English grammar.

How it works: 1) play the interactive lesson (about 30 minutes; it ends with a Noun Hunt at Home activity to do with a grown-up), 2) click Mark as Complete, 3) take the 10-question Nouns Quiz. Get 7 right to pass, and try again as many times as you like.
